How Isekai works

Isekai is where collectors trade second-hand anime goods with each other. These are the terms every buyer and seller agrees to.

How Isekai works

    List it

    Photograph the item, describe its condition honestly and choose an auction or a fixed price. A moderator checks listings from newer sellers before they go live.

  2. 02

    Sell it

    Buyers bid or buy outright. Bidding is automatic up to each bidder's maximum, and a bid in the last 5 minutes extends the clock so nobody is sniped.

  3. 03

    Ship it

    The buyer pays through Stripe within 3 days. You post the item and add tracking; the money lands in your account minus a 1% fee.

Fees

  • Sellers pay 1% of the item price, taken automatically when the buyer pays. Delivery charges are passed on to you in full and aren't commissioned.
  • Stripe charges its own card processing fee on your account, the same as for any Stripe merchant.
  • Buyers pay no fees — just the price and the delivery shown on the listing.

Getting paid

Sellers are paid through Stripe as private people, not as registered businesses, or by a Tikkie or bank payment link sent in the sale's messages. Stripe verifies your identity and bank account for card payments. A bank link is paid straight to you; Serika does not take a fee on it and does not see the transfer. SerikaStore never holds your money.

Listing review

A moderator checks listings from newer sellers before they go live, usually within a day. Sellers we trust, and Serika+ members of six months or more, publish instantly. Every listing can still be reported by buyers.

Photograph the actual item — up to 8photos — and describe its condition honestly, including box damage, missing parts and wear. Once a listing is live it can't be edited, so bidders always know what they're bidding on.

Bidding

  • Auctions run for 3, 5, 7, 10, 14 days, chosen by the seller.
  • Enter the most you're willing to pay. We bid on your behalf, only as much as it takes to keep you ahead, and your maximum stays private.
  • A bid in the final 5 minutes extends the auction by 5 minutes, so everyone gets a fair chance to respond.
  • Sellers can set a secret reserve. If bidding ends below it, the item isn't sold.
  • A Buy Now price on an auction disappears once the first bid is placed.
  • Bids are binding.If you win, you're expected to pay.

After the sale

  • The buyer pays within 3 days, through Stripe. Unpaid sales are released back to the seller. A Buy Now reservation can be released by the buyer before paying.
  • The seller posts the item and adds tracking. The buyer confirms when it arrives.
  • Only pay through Isekai. Deals arranged off the marketplace aren't protected, and asking for one is grounds for removal.

What you can't sell

  • Bootlegs, recasts and counterfeits — including “replica” or “unofficial” figures.
  • Anything you don't own, don't have to hand, or can't ship.
  • Digital codes, accounts and gift cards.
  • Anything illegal to sell, or to send to the buyer's country.
